Take it Outside Day - Biking at the Urban Ecology Center
(For everyone) Join us at Washington Park Urban Ecology Center for an opportunity to learn the basics of biking. We'll host three stations of activities including a lesson, a guided ride, and trail etiquette trivia. Dress for the weather, pack a snack, and bring your family/friends for this unique opportunity to connect with people and nature in the city! Urban Ecology Center will provide all gear necessary to participants who wish to try biking!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Bikes are sized by height - our fleet is designed to outfit individuals 4ft 11in. - 6ft 4in. tall. We have 2 bike trailers that can be pulled behind confident riders so that participants as young as 2 years old can enjoy the ride as well! Helmets size toddler to extra large are also provided for program purposes.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
