Order of Events
Avenue of Flags (8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
Prairie Home Cemetery will be placing flags along the main road through the cemetery to commemorate those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Flags will be flying between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The cemetery grounds are also open to visitors at this time.

Riverside Ceremony (9:00 a.m.)
A river ceremony will take place at Lee Sherman Dreyfus State Office Building (141 NW Barstow Street) at 9:00 a.m. We invite everyone to assemble and toss flowers into the river as a mark of respect for those who gave their lives. Please note that if you would like to partake in casting flowers into the river, you will need to bring your own live flowers (no plastic flowers).
Memorial Day March (10:00 a.m.)
The march will begin on Barstow Street at the Lee Sherman Dreyfus State Office Building (141 NW Barstow Street), proceed down Main Street, turn onto Maple Avenue and end at Wisconsin Avenue.
If you would like to participate in the march, please fill out the March Participation Application and return it to Chuck Esser at 321 Tenny Avenue, Waukesha, WI or via email at 1950esser@gmail.com.

Memorial Day Service at Cutler Park (11:00 a.m.)
Please join us for a program honoring all who have died and served our country.
March Route, Parking & Road Closures
No vehicles may be parked along the march route starting at 7:00 a.m. on May 25. Roads will be closed starting at 10:00 a.m. on May 25. No traffic will be able to enter or exit the perimeter until the conclusion of the march around 1:00 p.m.
For spectators coming to the parade, please park on street parking or City parking lots near the parade route and walk to your viewing location.
