DNA Extraction
Every organism on Earth, from bacteria to strawberries to humans, contains DNA. Stop by this activity to learn how nature's instruction manual can be extracted from strawberries!
Skull School
Scientists who study animal bones will tell you that, when you really know your stuff, you can read an animal skull like a book. In the Skull School activity, we’ll observe a set of “mystery” skulls to see what we can learn. We’ll explore the concepts of predator and prey, and what skulls and teeth tell us about the skills animals use for staying alive in the wild. We’ll also examine a new report about how the skulls of early humans reflect unique developments in how we learned to express emotion.
Grandmother Fish: A Grand Story of Life on Earth
Bring your young biologist along to learn how evolution connects all life on earth.
