Celebrate the 4th at Alcott Park

The City of Milwaukee’s Fourth of July festivities will once again take place - on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Milwaukee has long celebrated the Fourth of July with community events throughout the city, a tradition dating back to 1911. This year, Milwaukee will celebrate this great American holiday with parades, picnics, games, talent contests, fireworks and more!

- 9:15am Parade Assembly – 3575 S. 88th St.
- Bikes and more will be in the parade at 9:45am; come with them decorated with this year’s theme visibly stated!
- 9:45am Parade March to Alcott – 3751 S. 97th St.
- 10:30am Flag Ceremony, Cannon Salute, and Passing out Ice Cream 11:00am Kids Games
- 11:30am Bike Judging and Awards, Pull Raffle, Crafts for Kids Free Hot Dogs to Follow for the First 300 People
- 12:30pm Teen and Adult Games
- 1:30pm Talent Contest
- 8:30pm 50/50 Raffle Drawing – Tickets Sold All Day
- 9:15pm City of Milwaukee Fireworks
