The Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens host a variety of classes and events year-round at Boerner Botanical Gardens.

Game analysis, opening strategy, tactics-training, and puzzle solving skills are just some of the fun things we cover in chess class. All ages 5 and up, and complete beginners welcome too. We also review how the pieces move and piece development .

A variety of youth and adult extracurricular programs. Science, soccer, martial arts, track and field, chess, field hockey and so much more.

We currently offer Children's, Family, and Adult classes in many categories of Movement, Nutrition and Cooking, Gardening, Mindfulness, and Support.

Currently we offer summer camps for ages 6-14 and weekend classes for adults and older children (ages 12 & up attending with a registered adult) focused on painting, kombucha making, felting, Yoga with Alpacas, etc.

We offer live and interactive online classes of chess, piano, Rubik's Cube, guitar, mathematics, abacus, public speaking, creative writing, yoga, Python programming, Scratch coding, physics, chemistry, and language classes (Spanish, German, French)

The Germantown Park and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of programs and activities for residents of all ages. The majority of these program are held at locations spread around Germantown.

Farm/Nature classes/workshops

Make the most of your day on the hill by starting out with a lesson and build confidence and skills in 90 minutes. Near Chicago and Milwaukee, Grand Geneva offers the only best ski hills, and our skiing and snowboarding lessons reflect that. Our lessons provide a safe and fun learning experience for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. We also have one-hour private, semi-private and group lessons available. Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified instructors are trained on the latest skiing techniques and offer individual attention to encourage both beginners and advanced students.

Outdoor education programs.

At Lighthouse, we offer a variety of in-person and virtual creative writing workshops, in all genres, on weekends, after school, and during school-closure days, including the Young Authors Collective for teens, summer camps, and homeschool enrichment
