Puppets in the Park

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/13/2018
Meet at Lawn Area Across from Boat Docks New This Year! Come see a puppet play in the park! Lakeshore State Park staff will be performing plays based on books by Mo Willems and Ann Blum, followed by an interactive game/activity. Bring a camping chair or blanket for a comfy story-time.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Free. All Ages (content geared toward 3-10 years old, but all are welcome!).

Dogs are welcome at our public events, as long as they are in compliance with the park rule of being on a leash no longer than 8’ in length. As a reminder to all visitors, no alcohol is allowed in the park (with the exception of on-site purchase of beer at the Urban Island Beach Party). It is typically more windy and cool by the lake during our events, so please dress accordingly.

Free parking is available at the south entrance by following Erie St to the park access road along the Milwaukee Harbor and behind Summerfest’s American Family Amphitheater. Limited 3-hour free parking is available along N Harbor Drive and Clybourn St near Discovery World (portions of this may be closed during festival dates). Paid parking is available at the O’Donnell parking structure on Michigan St.
